Dehydroepiandrosterone
Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) is a naturally-occurring hormone produced by the adrenal glands. It is essential for many body processes and functions, such as regulating sex hormone production, regulating mood and energy levels, controlling inflammation, and promoting healthy aging. DHEA levels decline with age, and thus, supplementing with DHEA can be beneficial for people of all ages. DHEA supplementation has been found to be beneficial for improving mood, energy, libido, skin health, and overall wellbeing. Additionally, DHEA has been studied for its potential beneficial effects on cognitive function, autoimmune disorders, depression, and skin conditions such as psoriasis.
