Contraceptives
Contraceptives, also known as birth control, are methods of preventing pregnancy. They are popular tools used to allow couples and individuals to achieve their desired family size. Different methods of contraception such as condoms, pills, shots, and implants provide users with options to choose from, depending on their health requirements, lifestyle, and preferences. Contraceptive measures also carry additional benefits such as reducing the risk of diseases, as some methods such as condoms also prevent sexually transmitted infections. As such, contraceptives are an important tool for sexual and reproductive health and contribute to the overall public health of a community.
