Albumins

Albumins are a group of small, water-soluble proteins found in most body fluids and tissues. They are responsible for carrying important molecules, such as electrolytes, hormones, and drugs, throughout the body. They also help maintain the osmotic balance, allowing cells to transport fluids and other substances between cells, as well as storing and releasing energy. Albumins have a wide range of applications in biochemistry, such as diagnosing and managing illnesses, as well as in food and beverage processing. They are also used to produce a variety of products, including vaccines, drugs, and cosmetics. Albumins play an important role in the body’s health and their uses in biochemistry, food and beverage processing, and other industries make them invaluable.
