Transcriptional Control Mechanisms
Transcriptional control mechanisms are a set of processes by which the expression of genes is regulated in cells. These mechanisms enable cells to selectively turn specific genes on or off, allowing them to respond to changes in their environment and influencing their development, growth, and specialization. Transcriptional control mechanisms are essential for the proper functioning of cells, and their understanding is important for researchers who are studying diseases, trying to understand the behavior of cells, and developing therapeutic treatments.
