Genitalia Development
Genitalia development is a major process in sexual maturation and differentiation of male and female reproductive systems. It is the final stage of fetal development, during which male and female reproductive organs form and become functional. In males, genitalia development is responsible for the development of the penis, scrotum and testes, while in females, it is responsible for the development of the uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries. In some cases, congenital abnormalities such as hypospadias, cryptorchidism, and micropenis can occur. In order to diagnose these abnormalities, a detailed ultrasound examination is necessary. Additionally, proper medications and treatment can help in correcting the defects. Genitalia development is imperative for better health and for proper functioning of the reproductive system.
