Gene Mapping
Gene Mapping is a process of determining the precise location of genes on chromosomes. This technique is used to identify the genetic basis of inherited diseases and traits, to understand gene and protein functions, and to study evolutionary relationships between species. It is an important tool for scientists researching genetics, as it allows them to visualize the structure of entire genomes and to detect genetic variations that may be associated with certain traits. Gene Mapping can also be used to develop new diagnostic tests and treatments, to identify markers for diseases, as well as to study the genetics of species conservation.
