Differentiation

Differentiation is the mathematical process of finding the derivative of a function. It is used to determine the rate of change, or rate of slope, of a function at any given point. Differentiation is also used to calculate the local minima and maxima of a function as well as points of inflection and concavity, which helps to provide a better understanding of the behavior of a given function. Differentiation is of great importance in science, engineering, economics, and many other fields, as it can be used to solve a variety of problems.
