Insect molecular biology and genomics; Vector mosquitoes and control (genomics and functional genomics, molecular mechanism of insecticide resistance, molecular systematics and phylogenetics, population genetics); Molecular mechanism of insect diapause; Comparative genomics and molecular evolution; Insect taxonomy (Culicidae, Lagriidae, Vespidae).
