Photothermal Therapy
Photothermal therapy is a medical procedure that uses the application of light energy in the form of electromagnetic radiation and heat to treat malignant and benign tumors. This treatment, which is often used in combination with other treatments, is used to destroy cells in the affected area by heating them to a temperature that is lethal to the cells. Photothermal therapy can be used as an alternative to radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and even surgery in some cases. The biggest advantage of this procedure is that it is minimally invasive, with little to no side effects, and usually results in rapid healing of the affected area. Additionally, it can also be used for diagnosing tumors and other medical conditions.
