Drug-resistant Urinary Tract Infections (utis)
Drug-resistant urinary tract infections (UTIs) are bacterial infections that are resistant to the commonly used antibiotics. They can cause symptoms including burning on urination, frequency and urgency, cloudy urine and lower abdominal pain. UTIs can become serious infections if not treated properly and can spread to other parts of the body. Drug-resistant UTIs are of particular concern because of the limited options for treatment. Effective treatments require prescription medications tailored to the individual case and chosen based on the infecting bacteria's sensitivity. Early diagnosis and prompt treatment are essential for preventing complications and reducing the risk of transmission.
