Cytotoxic Chemotherapy

Cytotoxic chemotherapy is an important cancer treatment option used to destroy cancer cells. It works by interrupting the growth and division of cancer cells, thus preventing them from replicating and spreading throughout the body. The treatment is administered intravenously in the form of drugs and can be used alone or in combination with other treatments such as surgery or radiotherapy. Cytotoxic chemotherapy has been shown to be effective in shrinking and killing cancer cells, leading to improved patient outcomes and quality of life.
