Sensory Physiology
Sensory physiology is the study of how our body senses changes in the environment around us. It looks at how we detect our environment through sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing, and how our body responds. It is an important branch of physiology that helps us to better understand our sensory systems and processes. With better understanding, we can develop ways to improve our health and well-being. Sensory physiology helps us to understand how our body perceives the physical stimuli of our environment, how it creates mental images, and how it responds to the information we receive. It also helps explain why we may have a particular preference for certain foods or activities, or why we may be more sensitive to particular smells or sounds. This knowledge is important for designing products and services that are tailored to meet our sensory needs and preferences.
