Rna Synthesis
RNA Synthesis is the process of transcribing a gene, found in the nucleus of cells, into the language of the cell, which is RNA. The result of this process is a single-stranded molecule of RNA that contains the information necessary for the assembly of proteins in the ribosome. RNA Synthesis is critical for protein production, which is responsible for all of the functions in a living cell, including growth, development and maintenance. RNA Synthesis is also used in biotechnological applications, such as gene editing tools, diagnostics and therapeutics. By better understanding the fundamental process of RNA Synthesis, researchers can develop more accurate and efficient tools to treat disease and promote health.
