Complementary Dna Cloning

Complementary DNA (cDNA) cloning is a laboratory technique used to copy genetic material, usually DNA, and create a sequence-identical clone of the source's DNA. This technique is used to create specific copies of a gene or genes in a laboratory environment, allowing scientists to study their function in greater detail. The cDNA cloning technique is an essential tool for scientists to conduct research in fields such as biotechnology, genetics, and molecular biology. It enables the production of genetically modified organisms, the understanding of gene regulation and pathogenesis, and the development of new treatments for diseases. Hence, cDNA cloning has become an important part of modern medical research.
