Anabaena

Anabaena is a type of blue-green algae in the family Nostocaceae. It is found in freshwater, brackish and terrestrial habitats, and is of great significance because it is both an autotroph and a heterotroph. Anabaena is known for its ability to fix nitrogen, a process known as nitrogen fixation, which is essential for the health of global ecosystems. Anabaena is also used commercially in biotechnology and as a biofertilizer, as it increases crop yield and quality in agricultural settings. Furthermore, Anabaena is an important source of biologically active compounds and has been studied as a potential source of alternatives to antibiotics.

DNA, is like a blueprint of biological guidelines that a living organism must follow to exist and remain functional. RNA, helps carry out this blueprint's guidelines. RNA is more versatile than DNA, capable of performing numerous, diverse tasks in an organism, however DNA is more stable and holds more complex information for longer periods of time.
