Typhoid

fever Typhoid fever is an infectious disease caused by the bacteria Salmonella typhi. Symptoms of the disease include fever, fatigue, abdominal pain, headache and loss of appetite. Typhoid fever is spread through contaminated food and water and can cause serious complications and even death if left untreated. Vaccines are available to protect against the disease, and antibiotics are the main treatment. Prevention of typhoid fever involves the use of safe water and adequate sanitation, as well as proper food handling and preparation. Typhoid fever is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in many parts of the world and is a public health concern.
