Pathophysiology

Pathophysiology is the study of the disturbances of normal function. It investigates the physiological and biochemical processes responsible for the manifestation of a disease. Pathophysiology focuses on the study of how and why a person develops a disorder or disease, and how this disease affects the body. It is an important part of the medical field since it allows us to better understand the disease and develop better treatments. In addition, it is used to explain a wide range of diseases such as cancer, inflammatory diseases, and metabolic diseases. Pathophysiology is also used to provide insight into how genomics, proteomics and other molecular processes contribute to disease progression. It is an essential tool for the prevention and treatment of diseases.
