Pathogen Motility

Pathogen motility is the ability of a pathogen to move through and colonize its environment. This process is important for the spread of a pathogen in a population, and its ability to survive and reproduce. Certain pathogenic bacteria, fungi, and viruses utilize various mechanisms to move rapidly and infect multiple hosts. A better understanding of these mechanisms can help us to better protect ourselves from infectious diseases. Pathogen motility can also be used in research to study the spread and evolution of infectious diseases, as well as in biotechnology to aid the delivery of therapeutic agents.
