Glomeruli

Glomeruli are microscopic structures found in the kidneys. They are composed of clusters of capillary blood vessels, which form a network of filters to remove waste products from the bloodstream. Glomeruli are an essential part of the kidney's filtration system, as they help to remove waste products in order to maintain the body's internal environment and ensure that essential substances, such as nutrients and hormones, remain in the bloodstream. Glomerular filtration is a vital process for the functioning of the human body, as it helps to maintain a balance of essential substances in the bloodstream. It is also important for the excretion of toxins and other waste products from the body.
