Antibacterial Therapy
Antibacterial therapy is the use of antibiotics and other substances to eliminate or reduce the number of bacteria in a particular environment. It is an important tool for treating and preventing bacterial infections, as well as for controlling and eradicating outbreaks of contagious diseases. Antibacterial therapy can also be used to help prevent antibiotic resistance by decreasing the amount of bacteria in an environment and reducing the chance of bacteria developing a resistance to certain antibiotics. In addition, certain antibiotics are also used to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Antibacterial therapy can help improve overall public health and reduce the spread of resistant bacteria.
