Steatohepatitis
Steatohepatitis is an inflammatory disease of the liver caused by fat buildup in the organ. The excess fat can be due to a variety of factors, including alcohol, obesity, medications and genetic factors. In severe cases, steatohepatitis can lead to cirrhosis and liver failure. Steatohepatitis is an important condition to recognize and treat, as it can often be reversed with lifestyle changes and medications. In addition, early diagnosis and treatment of steatohepatitis can prevent further damage to the liver and improve overall health.
