Pancreatic Cancer
Pancreatic cancer is a type of cancer that begins in the tissues of the pancreas, a small organ located behind the lower stomach. It is one of the deadliest forms of cancer, with an estimated five-year survival rate of less than 10%. Pancreatic cancer can spread rapidly, making early detection and treatment essential for improving patient outcomes. Diagnosis is typically based on blood tests, imaging studies, and/or biopsies. Modern treatment options for pancreatic cancer include chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery.
