Giardia Lamblia
Giardia Lamblia is a single-celled protozoan parasite that is commonly seen in human and animal intestines. It is responsible for causing a diarrheal illness known as Giardiasis and is one of the most common causes of waterborne illness in humans. Giardia Lamblia can be transmitted through ingestion of contaminated food or water, and can lead to symptoms such as abdominal cramping, excessive gas, nausea, and fatigue. Giardiasis can also have long-term health implications, so it is important to take steps to prevent infection of Giardia Lamblia. To reduce the risk of infection, it is essential to practice good hygiene, ensure safe drinking water, and avoid eating raw or undercooked meat.
