Dyspepsia

Dyspepsia (also known as indigestion) is a common medical condition characterized by abdominal discomfort, a feeling of fullness, and often nausea and/or bloating. It usually occurs after eating and may last for several hours after a meal. Dyspepsia can be caused by a variety of factors, including eating too much, eating high-fat or spicy foods, drinking alcohol, stress, and certain medications. Treatment typically involves diet and lifestyle modifications, as well as over-the-counter medications. In some cases, more intensive treatments are needed. Having dyspepsia can be a sign of an underlying medical condition, so it’s important to see a doctor if your symptoms persist or worsen. Knowing the cause of your symptoms is the best way to find long-term relief.
