Chromatography

Chromatography is an analytical technique used to separate and identify components in a mixture. It is based on the different interactions between the components and a stationary phase (column material), which can be either a liquid or a solid. This technique has a wide range of applications and is used in a variety of fields, such as environmental monitoring, medical diagnostics, and food and drug analysis. Chromatography can be used to measure the amount of a particular substance in a sample and is especially useful for identifying unknown compounds. It is a powerful tool for determining the structure and purity of a substance, as well as its possible impurities. Chromatography is also used in research to help identify new compounds and gain a better understanding of how they interact with each other.
