Warts
Warts are raised, skin-colored growths caused by a virus known as Human Papillomavirus (HPV). They can occur anywhere on the body and can cause discomfort, embarrassment and social stigmatization. Warts can be quite difficult to treat and no single treatment is guaranteed to work. Treatment strategies can include topical medications, cryotherapy, laser therapy, and surgery. Improper treatment of warts can lead to permanent scarring, so it is important to consult a doctor for appropriate treatment.

Most nodules are cysts filled with fluid or with a stored form of thyroid hormone called colloid. Solid nodules have little fluid or colloid. These nodules are more likely to be cancerous than are fluid-filled nodules. Some types of solid nodules, such as hyperplastic nodules and adenomas, have too many cells, but the cells are not cancer cells.

Cervical cancer is caused by a virus called human papillomavirus, or HPV. It occurs when abnormal cells on the cervix grow out of control. It starts in the cells lining the cervix.
