Skin Tests

Skin tests are medical procedures used to identify allergens or infections that may cause skin reactions. During the test, small amounts of allergens or antigens are introduced to the skin and monitored for an allergic reaction or skin irritation such as redness, swelling, or an itchy rash. Skin tests are used to diagnose a range of conditions including allergic reactions, skin infections, and autoimmune diseases. They are quick, easy, and cost-effective to perform, making them a valuable diagnostic tool for healthcare professionals. In addition, skin tests are non-invasive and can provide important information about a patient's health and help determine the best course of treatment.
