Ointments
Ointments are semi-solid, topically-applied preparations that contain one or more medications. They are used to treat skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, contact dermatitis, and other skin irritations. Ointments can help to reduce pain, inflammation, and provide a protective barrier against further damage. They can also be used to treat superficial cuts and abrasions, as well as sunburns. Ointments are an important part of the treatment and management of many skin conditions and can provide relief from the discomfort associated with skin conditions and injuries.
