Larva Migrans

Larva Migrans is a parasitic infection caused by roundworm larvae. It is transmitted through contact with contaminated soil, sand or animal feces and can infect humans, cats, dogs and other animals. Clinical symptoms may include intense itching, lesions and blisters on the skin. It can cause serious, long-term health problems if left untreated. Treatment is typically with oral anti-parasitic medications. Larva Migrans is relatively common, and its prevention and prompt treatment are essential for avoiding serious health risks.
