Black Hairy Tongue

Black Hairy Tongue is a common condition that affects the tongue. It is caused by a buildup of bacteria on the surface of the tongue and is characterized by a black, hairy-looking coating. Symptoms include the sensation of a foreign body on the tongue, taste disturbances, and bad breath. Treatment involves good oral hygiene and the use of antiseptic and anti-bacterial mouth washes. Black Hairy Tongue can be an alarming condition, but it is usually harmless and can be managed easily with proper dental care.
