Expressive Therapies Depression
Scale The Expressive Therapies Depression Scale (ETD) is a self-report measure that assesses depression among individuals who are undergoing expressive therapies. It is an observational-based tool that looks at both the physical and emotional symptoms of depression. The ETD measures the intensity of a person’s depressive symptoms and was designed to provide an assessment of the individual’s level of depression prior to and during their expressive therapy sessions. This tool is used by therapists to better understand their clients’ experiences and help them better respond to changes in the symptoms. The ETD is an important tool for recognizing, understanding, and treating depression in individuals who are undergoing expressive therapies.
