Epidemiology

Epidemiology is the study of the patterns and causes of disease, disability and death in populations. It is a powerful tool used to identify risk factors for disease, target public health interventions, and monitor the effectiveness of those interventions. By understanding how and why diseases develop, epidemiologists can help to reduce the burden of disease and improve the health of populations.
