Psychological Sciences

Psychology is a science that studies behavior and mental processes of human beings. It is a very broad area of research that encompasses neuroscience, artificial intelligence, evolutionary biology, psychotherapy and cognitive science. Psychological sciences seek to understand and explain the causes of human mental and social behavior, as well as to address the potential methods of preventing and treating issues such as mental illness. Psychological science has applications in virtually every domain of human life, including education, health, business and economics. Psychological sciences also contribute to the development of public policies and the understanding of social problems.
