Virus Genomics
Virus Genomics is the study of the genetic makeup of viruses. It involves the analysis of the genomes of viruses and how they interact with their hosts. By studying virus genomes, scientists are able to identify new viruses, detect the origin of existing viruses, and develop vaccines and treatments to fight them. Virus genomics has also been used in many other fields, such as food safety, agriculture, diagnostics, and biosecurity. With the help of virus genomics, researchers can further our understanding of viruses and their effects on human, animal, and plant health.
