Virological Methods

Virological methods are a range of techniques used to study and identify viruses. These methods can be used to detect a virus, analyze its structure and properties, and assess its pathogenicity and potential antiviral agents. Virological methods are important in understanding virus biology, aiding disease diagnosis and prevention, and accelerating the development of new drugs and vaccines. In clinical settings, virological methods can be used to diagnose viral infections, monitor their progression, and assess their response to treatment. In research, these methods are also employed to discover new viruses and study the structure, genetic composition, and properties of existing viruses.
