Vector Biology
Vector Biology is the study of how viruses, bacteria, and parasites move from one host organism to another. It is used to understand how infectious diseases spread, and how to protect against them. Vector Biology is also used to study how vectors, such as mosquitoes and ticks, contribute to the transmission of infectious diseases, both in humans and animals. Understanding vector biology can lead to improved disease control and prevention measures, such as improved public health education, vector control interventions, and better preparedness against pandemics.
