Relative Bradycardia

Relative bradycardia is a medical condition where the heart rate is lower than expected for an individual's age, gender, and activity level. While it is generally considered a mild condition, the underlying cause can vary from person to person and can indicate a more serious underlying medical condition. Its symptoms may include fatigue, shortness of breath, dizziness and lightheadedness. Treatments for bradycardia can range from treatment of the underlying cause to lifestyle changes to medications and even pacemakers or other interventions. Because of its potential implications, bradycardia should be evaluated and managed by a health care professional.
