Immuno Virology
Immuno virology is a branch of medicine and biology focused on the study of viruses and their interactions with the human immune system. This field of research is integral for understanding how viruses infect and replicate in the human body, the impact of viruses on the human immune system, and how effective treatment and prevention strategies can be developed. Through the research of immuno virology, scientists are able to identify and characterize new viruses, develop targeted treatments, as well as develop and improve existing vaccines to protect against these viruses. Immuno virology also plays an important role in epidemiology, allowing us to understand the spread and transmission of viruses across populations. In this way, it helps us to inform public health policies and promote strategies to reduce the transmission of diseases.
