293t Cells
293t cells, also known as HEK 293T, are a commonly used type of human kidney cell line (HEK stands for Human Embryonic Kidney). These cells are an important tool for biomedical research due to their ability to efficiently produce large amounts of recombinant proteins and to support virus production. 293T cells are also valuable for developing new drugs and testing the effects of various compounds on individual cell types. They are widely used in gene therapy, vaccine development, and cancer research. In addition, 293T cells provide a useful platform for studying different aspects of cell biology, such as cell-signaling pathways, gene regulation, and molecular interactions.
