Chronic Hepatitis
Chronic hepatitis is an inflammatory condition of the liver caused by a virus, drug or toxin. It can lead to liver scarring, liver failure and even cancer. Symptoms may include fatigue, jaundice, abdominal pain, dark urine and loss of appetite. Treatment options include antiviral medications, lifestyle changes and in some cases, surgery. Early detection and effective treatment can help to reduce the progression of the disease and improve quality of life.
