Cardiovascular Diseases
Cardiovascular diseases are a group of conditions which affect the heart and blood vessels. Examples of cardiovascular disease include coronary artery disease, stroke, heart failure, hypertension, congenital heart disease, and more. These diseases are leading causes of death and disability worldwide. Early diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases can reduce the risk of disability and death. To reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases, individuals should exercise regularly, maintain a healthy weight, and eat a balanced, nutritious diet.
