Blood Pressure
Blood pressure is a measure of the pressure exerted by circulating blood on the walls of blood vessels. It is measured in millimeters of mercury (mmHg) and helps doctors to monitor and diagnose health conditions such as hypertension or heart failure. High blood pressure can lead to the risk of stroke, heart attack, and other diseases. Low blood pressure can cause dizziness, confusion, and other problems. Checking and monitoring blood pressure is an important part of maintaining good health.
