Radiotherapy

Radiotherapy is a form of cancer treatment that uses high-energy radiation to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors. In radiotherapy, radiation is focused on the area where cancer cells are located, delivering a precise dose of radiation to the target area. It is used to treat a range of cancers including brain, breast, and prostate, as well as other conditions such as to relieve pain and alleviate symptoms. Radiotherapy is used on its own or in combination with other treatments such as surgery and chemotherapy, to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
