Psychologists and Psychotherapists
Psychology and psychotherapy are both disciplines that focus on understanding, assessing, and improving people's mental health and emotional well-being. Psychologists conduct research, develop prevention and intervention programs, and assess behaviors to better understand how people think and behave. Psychotherapists use psychotherapy to address a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and other issues. Through psychotherapy, psychologists and psychotherapists help people to better manage their mental health and emotional well-being, leading to improved quality of life and functioning.
