Frontal Bones

The frontal bones are two bony plates located at the front of the skull. They form the forehead, the upper part of the orbits of the eyes, and parts of the nasal and frontal sinuses. They provide support and protection for the delicate brain and facial structures, as well as a large surface area for the attachment of muscles used for facial expressions. Frontal bones are one of the primary components of the human skeleton, and are essential for everyday functioning.
