Cohort Design
A cohort design is a scientific approach to research that follows a group of people over time. It is used to observe the effects of events, such as diseases, treatments, or lifestyle changes, on the group as a whole. A cohort design is beneficial because it can show how changes in one person’s life may affect other members of the group, and it is also useful in identifying risk factors that lead to particular outcomes or diseases. This type of research is useful in providing evidence-based insights into how best to prevent diseases, treat them effectively, and improve public health.
