Rehabilitation Nursing

Rehabilitation nursing is a form of care focused on helping individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses to regain and maintain their physical, mental, and emotional strength. Through rehabilitative care, nurses help patients rebuild their ability to live independently and with quality of life. Rehabilitation nurses work closely with other medical professionals to create individualized plans for each patient. Patients can benefit from energy conservation techniques, medications, exercise, and psychological support. Rehabilitation nursing is an important field of nursing that helps people to overcome physical and mental suffering, increasing the quality of life for individuals who have suffered from disabilities and chronic illnesses.
