Neonatal Nursing

Neonatal nursing is a specialized field of nursing that focuses on providing care to newborn children from the time of birth through the first 28 days of life. The goal of neonatal nursing is to ensure that the newborn is provided with the best possible medical care in order to ensure a healthy and successful transition into their new environment. Neonatal nurses may provide direct medical care, including monitoring vital signs, providing medications, and performing examinations and diagnostic tests. They may also provide emotional support to parents and families, as well as education about infant care. Neonatal nursing is a vital field in the medical industry, as these newborns are particularly vulnerable and require specialized attention to ensure their health and well-being.
