Military and Uniformed Services Nursing

Military and Uniformed Services Nursing is a specialized branch of nursing that involves taking care of the health needs of military and uniformed personnel, both in active duty and retired. The primary focuses of these nurses include preventive care, providing health education in the military and administration of care in hazardous and hostile environments. Military and Uniformed Services Nursing also encompasses the management of medical care in support of military operations. These nurses provide not only medical care, but also psychological and emotional support to service members, veterans and their families. These nurses play an integral role in the success of the military mission and are essential to the health and well-being of military personnel.
