Infectious Disease Nursing
Infectious Disease Nursing is an area of nursing specialty focusing on the care of patients with infectious diseases, including prevention of transmission, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. It is an important field, as infectious diseases are one of the major public health concerns affecting global communities. Infectious Disease Nurses provide direct nursing care for those with infectious diseases, as well as education to the public and health care providers on disease prevention and control.
